Lisa Winjum

Lisa Winjum serves as Executive Director of My Sister’s Place, where she leads the organization’s work supporting survivors of domestic violence and their children across Washington, D.C.

Lisa brings extensive nonprofit leadership experience and a deep commitment to mission-driven, survivor-centered work. Throughout her career, she has focused on strengthening organizations that provide critical support to individuals and families facing crisis, with an emphasis on collaboration, community partnership, and sustainable growth.

At My Sister’s Place, Lisa works closely with staff, partners, and community members to ensure survivors have access to the safety, resources, and support they need to heal and build stable futures.

Lisa is honored to join the dedicated team at MSP and is committed to advancing the organization’s long-standing mission of promoting safety, healing, and empowerment for survivors.
