A Legacy of Leadership and Innovation
For over 45 years, My Sister’s Place has led the way in addressing domestic violence in Washington, D.C.—launching the city’s first hotline and shelter dedicated to survivors, and introducing the first Batterer Intervention Program. Since 1979, we have remained a vital part of the District’s response to this urgent public health issue, with our impact continuing to grow.
Full Continuum of Care for Survivors
MSP is unique in offering a full continuum of care—from emergency shelter to transitional housing and ultimately permanent, stable housing. Our team of experienced case managers and residential counselors provides:
