Families who enter our transitional housing program, including Casa Gabriela Mistral for immigrant victims of domestic violence, are linked with a range of supportive and community services that help them move towards permanent housing as well as emotional and financial independence.

Our focus is on empowering them through counseling and case management and by encouraging their learning new skills such as financial management. In 2007, 11 families prepared for independence while living at our transitional housing units.
