MSP is distinguished from other organizations that provide direct services to survivors of domestic violence by the level of our commitment to educate the community. Through our technical assistance training programs, our staff train key institutions including clergy, police and medical personnel on how to identify and respond appropriately to battered women. MSP founded the area's first outreach program specifically focused on Latino victims of domestic violence. Bilingual staff provide traditional in person outreach in tandem with media partnerships like Telemundo to over 583,000 Spanish speaking community members annually.
